What Happens During a Bankruptcy Consultation?

If you are considering filing bankruptcy, hopefully, you will allow us to assist you. During a bankruptcy consultation we can walk you through the process and advise you of the best route to take. This 30-minute appointment will hopefully help alleviate some (or all) of your fears about bankruptcy.
If you are wondering whether you are eligible or how bankruptcy will impact your credit score, we can discuss this along with any other questions you may have during your bankruptcy consultation. Common questions are:
- Do I qualify?
- Will I be able to keep my car?
- Can I hold onto a few credit cards for emergencies?
- Will my employer find out?
- Does my spouse have to file too?
We can answer these questions for you during the bankruptcy consultation.
Since the pandemic many of the court’s processes are conducted online. We followed suit and now we handle the consultation and the gathering of documents electronically via email and fax.
After we speak and you determine you would like to move forward, it is helpful to us and more efficient for you if you can submit the required documents as soon as possible.
